Eric McMullen, LAC

Eric McMullen is a Licensed Associate Counselor whose mission is to serve individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life's challenges and connect in relationships, uncover their inner resources, and cultivate deep and meaningful lives.

Rather than relying on a one-size-fits-all model, Eric tailors his approach to fit each unique person, drawing heavily from mindfulness-based practices, somatic awareness, and holistic and relationship frameworks that honor the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. He has extensive experience supporting clients through trauma, life transitions, anxiety, depression, food and body challenges, and personal growth.

With a career dedicated to health and education spanning over two decades in the Searcy community, Eric brings a unique perspective to counseling. Before earning his Masters of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling he spent years as a local high school Spanishteacher, community ESL instructor, and has dedicated the last 15 years working with clients as a Clinical Nutritionist and Holistic Lifestyle Coach.

Eric is trained and certified in Brainspotting, TF-CBT, Clinical Nutrition, Tai Chi, and Holistic Lifestyle Coaching. He has been married since 2017 to Hannah McMullen, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Yoga Instructor. They share a vision for serving our community through service in holistic health and emotional well-being. They are raising 2 daughters, enjoy traveling, hiking, being with friends, and music.
