Jeanie Linton

Jeanie is a licensed speech-language pathologist who has specialized in working with individuals who have complex communication, emotional, and behavioral needs across educational, residential, foster care, and ministry settings. She has extensive experience helping individuals whose communication challenges related to trauma, abuse, emotional regulation, attachment, and behavioral health. Her clinical approach is rooted in trauma-informed, relationship-based care.

When engaging with clients, Jeanie uses a holistic approach that allows her to understand communication, behavior, and emotional needs within the broader context of each client's experiences, relationships, and environment. Jeanie is passionate about connecting with clients with behavioral health needs in order to help them feel safe, seen, and understood, creating greater opportunities for meaningful communication with families and other professionals. She believes meaningful communication develops through trusting relationships and strives to create environments where clients feel emotionally safe enough to take risks, connect with others, and grow. In addition to her clinical work, Jeanie has experience in leadership, program development, special education, and interdisciplinary collaboration.

In her free time, Jeanie will be in her camper van or in an airplane, obsessing over the latest book or television series, and hunting down good food.
