Victoria Simmons, LAC, LAMFT

Victoria is a Licensed Associate Counselor and Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who is passionate about walking alongside individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and discover their capacity to overcome them. She is committed to strengthening individuals, relationships, and families in order to build healthier, more resilient communities.

Victoria primarily works with older adolescents, adults, couples, and families. She strives to create a safe, compassionate, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to address challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and adjustment concerns.

Victoria believes that each person has unique strengths and the ability to grow, heal, and move forward. Her approach is collaborative and tailored to each client’s individual needs. She incorporates evidence-based approaches such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and family systems approaches to help clients develop practical tools, strengthen relationships, build resilience, and create meaningful change.

As a Certified Trauma Professional, Victoria is especially passionate about helping individuals understand how their past experiences may influence their present while learning to move beyond those experiences and thrive in the here and now. Her goal is to help clients recognize their inner strength, develop healthy coping strategies, and feel empowered as they navigate their unique pathways in life.

Outside of counseling, Victoria enjoys working out, tent camping, and exploring random hiking trails with her husband of over 25 years. Her favorite moments are spent with her husband and their two adult children, along with plenty of time snuggling with her fur baby.
