Learning Objectives
Learner will identify key school and community stakeholders — including school counselors, administrators, pediatricians, and other referral sources — who serve as pivotal partners in expanding access to mental health services.
Learner will utilize the Connection Card as a structured tool for soliciting community feedback, measuring relational depth, and tracking the growth of individual referral networks over time.
Learner will Describe ethical boundaries and professional considerations for community engagement as a clinician or behavioral health staff member operating in a multi-stakeholder environment.
Learner will demonstrate practical strategies for initiating and sustaining meaningful professional relationships with community stakeholders that support client care and generate sustainable referral partnerships.
Qualifications:
Thomas Ritchie, LPC-S, is the founder of Life Within Counseling Group. The primary focus of his career has been working with children and families. Whether in the homes of families or the classrooms with children, he is passionate about seeing children and families succeed. He is trained in various approaches to improve attachment and also clinically proven treatments for trauma, TF-CBT and EMDR-II.
Life Within Counseling Group, LLC has been approved by NBCC as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, ACEP No. 7240. Programs that do not qualify for NBCC credit are clearly identified. Life Within Counseling Group, LLC is solely responsible for all aspects of the programs.
